Wait a minute….somethings wrong with your profile….you say you are a Telecommunications System Administration; and you DO NOT know how to find an IP Address from a give Network card on the LAN / WAN ? Hmmm…strange.

the MAC address is like the IEMI of a mobile, a hardware identifier. the IP is like a mobile phone number, only relevant to the current connection, and can be easily changed.
