I currently have some MAC users who installed antivirus onto their Parallels installation instead of the MAC OS. I'm thinking they should have it installed on the MAC OS and not just in Parallels but I am not entirely familiar with MAC laptops. Does anyone have thoughts on this? We are required by law to have antivirus on these devices.
Yes! You should be having antivirus on both Mac and parallels. It does fall on the usage and one can really ignore it on parallels if the use is not that wide and limited(secure). But I would advise having AV installed on both for safer side.
