I just installed Mac OS X on a dual 500mhz G4. It
booted up fine after the install so I started running
updates on it. After the updates were finished, the
computer needed to be restarted so I clicked restart.
Now it only boots up to the BootRom screen with error
code 300 empty slot. I’ve tried to re-install from the CD
but it won’t let me. It also won’t let me flash the PRAM.
Any Suggestions? What can I do to avoid replaceing
the hard drive and re-installing the OS?
