we have a Mac/PC network the macs are 10.4.11 both types of workstations communicate flawlessly.
recently the owner blindly decided to purchase a new imac installed with leopard 10.5.
Today I setup the new imac, unfortnitly im discovering all the conflicts of the new Operating system. First and most important is that i cannot connect to any computer on the network. It just says “connection failed” under the icon, when I try to click connect as a specific user nothing happens. so far i tried tinkering with the firewall, sharing options, tried connecting with and without Admitmac installed. This is very annoying. no wonder nobody likes macs! As of now i’m downloading a software update for the operating system, hopefully that helps
