I’m in the market for a new computer and I’m torn between another PC or a Mac. My first computer was an Apple IIe but I’ve been using PC’s ever since. The little bit of software I own – Norton Anti-Virus and Zone Alarm Firewall I know can’t be used on the Mac without an emulator of some kind. Everything else on my computer are mpg files, jpg files, and documents, all of which I know can be converted or run on either platform. All the other software I have either came with the compputer or was a free download of some sort or another. Obviously it’s not really a question of runing my current software, but what is easier to use, more fun to use, and while not as skilled as most of the other visitors to this site, I’d like something I cantweak to my hearts content but also will not need the constant care that Windows 98 does if I’m feeling lazy. Either way, I’m looking for a laptop. I’d really like to hear what everyone thinks.
