Mac Pro post upgrade & update problems

I have a Mac pro A1502, I received an apple update recommendation to Catalina, since then I have been struggling with the problem detailed below

After upgrading to catalina 10.15 (approx 2 weeks ago) I kept getting a dialog box pop up say please enter VPN authentication, having tried loads of times, I failed. While in this situation my Mac Pro was useless, I could not connect to anything. After a few days apple offered a small update 10.15.1 which I uploaded, problem resolved, happy days.

A few days ago apple offered update 10.15.2, which I accepted, now I am back in Mac Pro useless mode again, same symptoms, and no further corrective update offered, any useful ideas will be appreciated.

I am happy to send a screenshot to anyone

    Thanks, George

      Apple’s Upgrade and Update problems

In reply to Mac Pro post upgrade & update problems

This has been Apple’s history. Well, I don’t want to criticise Apple for this as such issues pop up everywhere in every operating systems. However, Apple quickly resolves such issues that occur post upgrades/updates.

A better way to deal with these problems is to go back to that “small update 10.15.1” until Apple releases final solutions. For those few days, you can stop using VPN apps on your Mac Pro.

Finally, wait and watch for public update from Apple. Most probably, Apple is quick to respond issues related to OS updates.
