Macbook Pro Not Powering On
Hi guys,
I have a Macbook Pro Retina, 13″ from early 2015. I was using the Macbook on Sunday evening without any issues, and then when I went to go back on it on Monday, the Macbook was completely dead.
The charger had no light illuminated on the port when connected to the Macbook (It’s the one that clicks into place). Tried that in a different wall socket and also a different Mac, and ruled out the charger.
The Macbook however shows no signs of life. When pressing the Power button, the screen remains blank. The touch pad doesn’t click when pressed. I tried the CTRL, SHIFT and ALT key to drain the SMC but has made no difference.
Do you think this is more likely to be a battery issue or could it be something more sinister that would require extensive repair?
Any ideas?
Thanks
