I am trying to install and use Outlook on my Mac OS X machine. My network is NT based and my Mac is getting an IP address via DHCP, so I think I can rule out any connection problems. But, my trouble is that I cannot resolve the user name with my Exchange Server. The message I receive tells me “the name cannot be resolved.” I’m thinking that perhaps a Hosts file will help this resolution problem, but I’m not sure of the format.
Does anyone have experience in using Outlook on Mac and/or know how I should create my Hosts file for name resolution with Exchange?
