Macintosh OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion) changed protocols …

by tech.support . Updated 13 years, 5 months ago

before Macintosh OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion) ; Macintoshes could be easily connected to WIN SBS2003 and WIN SBS2008 servers , or under SMB or if AppleTalk services were installed in AFP protocol.
Since the new OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion) introduced , this is NOT possible anymore. There is a solution (workaround) with ExtremeZ IP , for SBS 2003 , but I don’t know if You need ExtremeZ IP also for WIN SBS2008 …
Can anyone advise ?
Yours,
Hugo
