Macromedia Director

Four questions in one.
1 -If i create a movie in macromedia director 8.5 what are the minimum system requirements for this movie to be played back?
2 -If i create it on a PC can it be played back on a MAC.
3 – If i have created the movie on a CD Rom is there any way for a user to use it across the web.
4 -What are the benefits of creating buttons in fireworks and graphics in Flash over Director/ why not just use director?
