2 Record some actions in macros, then open the VBA editor, get in there and get your hands dirty.
3 Pick up a book like Access Cookbook from O'Reilly, or VBA in a Nutshell.
4 If you hit a problem, send your error message into the ether and see what turns up. Keep it literal and you'll probably find that problem / question has already been hit / asked a thousand times already; and answered several times.
5 If / when you find yourself ready to ask vba-specific questions, use your search engine - there's loads of resources out there!
