I have a user who runs a “Mail Merge” in MS Word and sometimes comes across the following problem. After the user adds “Mail Merge Recipients” and then clicks on the icon to “Merge to New Document” the text overlays itself, so each character in a line or section appears to be on top of each other. The user likes to see the document before printing so doens’t click the option “Merge to Print”. I’ve asked her to try this to see if the problem persists. Hope that explains the problem as it’s a bit of a strange one. This happens for various users on different PCs and can’t be replicated and happens intermittently. When the user runs the mail merge again, following the problem, it may or may not happen.
