I have a maintenance plan backing up 1 database on a SQL server, however since a change in the replication plan. There have been significant growth in the size of the backup files (IE: grown from 70MB to almost 300MB in 3 weeks).When I check the actual size of the BD it is still the 70ish MB area, but the backups are huge. In the maintenance plan there is nowhere to specify weather you want to append of overwrite the data. What could be causing the growth in the DB and what steps can I take to prevent this from continuing.
