I'm making a bootable CD using Adaptec easy CD creator 5.0. The CD will boot off a motherboard type system but will not boot using a passive back plane configuration and a single board computer (SBC). The same DVD drive was used on both systems. TheCD was created as a floppy image of a bootable Ghost disk with PC DOS 7.0. I tried both CD-R and CD-RW disks. The SBC will boot using A Windows 2000 CD. The SBC is a dual PIII 800 MHz with U160 SCSI, AGP graphics, USB, IDE, floppy, ethernet, PS2 mouse and keyboard.

You could try putting a win2k boot sector on the CD - the same as is on the w2k CD you successfully used.
Here is a link to the site showing how to do this. It describes making a bootable w2k CD from an image but should apply to any CD with an autorun on it.
Either would do. There are also tools provided on the XP site to extract the actual boot sector from you w2k CD if you'd rather not use their downloadable version (which works just fine!)
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
