Make IE32bit default in Vista 64

by doylepirish . Updated 18 years, 1 month ago

For some reason, without my knowledge, IE7 64bit became my default browser in Vista 64. Now any shortcuts on my desktop or links in an email open in IE 64. I know IE 32bit was the default, but for some reason it no longer is. I checked the box under Internet Options to make it check to see if it is the default, but that has not made a difference. Any suggestions. I am thinking about making Mozilla the default, then launching IE 32bit and see if that makes a difference.

I might be the only on here who likes Vista 64. I am running Ultimate and this is the first real annoyance. Outside of Flash, Roboform, and Acrobat 7 not working right.
