Making a bootable cd

By rheta ·
I would like to make a slipsteam cd to be bootable for backup but everything I have read requires the original cd. My computer did not come with one, XP was already loaded. The hard drive is divided into two letters and one is not accessable so I imagine that is where the files that I need are. If anyone can help with the process I would appreciate it!

Those hidden files are vary hard to get to, if it is a HP they are going through a class action suit because of the partition and how they used it. You could try a BartPE cd and see if you can get into it.
That's all we have at work, I will try a few things and let you know. What type of computer is it and how old?

If you bought this PC from a retailer, ask for a XP CD (not a restore CD) for your PC as you boguht it with a valid copy of Windows, so you need a valid CD.
