From the info I have gathered it seems a switch allows you to dedicate bandwidth to certain ports. Is this correct? If so is it automatic?
We have a customer who wants several network points over 100m away from existing hub so I am presuming the best solution is a hub/switch (not sure which) near the new points. The only server will remain on the current hub/switch.
