Making use of time signal for PC clock

By r.h.berger ·
The Germans offer a PCI card which picks up their standard time signal (from Dortmund) and uses it to control the local PC clock.
Is there anything comparable to this product available in this country, that can be used to lock in the PC clock to the Bureau of Standards time signal?
Note: No phone or Internet connection is available for the PC in question.

Making use of time signal for PC clock

http://www.wilsonmar.com/1clocks.htm provides more suggestions than you may want.

A search on Google for WWV time sync will bring up numerous do-it-yourself approaches.

If you are looking to buy a solution, you might want to consider True Time, where you can get a PCI card with antenna for WWV. http://www.truetime.com/indexP.html
