Kindly someone tells me how we can stop malware or spammy reviews on our website. I am receiving spammy and irrelevant reviews on my website products.

If everybody can post on your website, this is what you get.

There are ways to get more real reviews, like only accepting reviews for products the user (who has to login with his account or in any other way you can check, like invoice number, postal code and house number) bought the last two months or so. That might be a change in your site you need to hire a developer for, if your webmaster can’t do it himself.

No, I am getting spammy reviews on my website. They are not relevant to my website products. They are just links to the other websites.

Anyway, here we get a lot of spammy posts also. We have to delete them, like you have to do if you can’t prevent them.

I think it would be deleted as totally unnecessary.

Sometimes a company will forget to implement a spambot or other filters.

Even a spambot or filter won’t catch them all so you are left to review content and remove such things.

Here’s why I have to write no.

To get reviews on a WordPress (WP) site there would be yet other plugins. There’s no way I could research what antispam addons would be compatible.

The plugin that you use to allow reviews should be checked for filters such as NO URL settings. I can’t see any reason to allow URLs in the reviews so that’s an easy filter.

Banned words such as http could be used as well.
