By alon.goldin ·
Greeting, question to the IT professionals who have experience with network/systems management across enterprises.

Which management interface you would prefer to use, to manage enterprise infrastructure software for managing desktops in a distributed enterprise with large amount of desktops, including image management, support, and protection.

Options:

1. MMC snap in

2. Web GUI

3. Dedicated GUI

4. Combination of the above? please specify which you would prefer

Why would you choose one vs another?

All of the above.

Each usually provides a different level or ease of access to whatever you are working on.

Dedicated GUI (installed application?) provides all included functions and capabilities on a workstation dedicated to the function.

MMC snap-in allows adding sufficent access for short-term work without installing a dedicated application on a workstation that will not require the functionallity long term.

Web GUI for remote access., When you need to change something and you can't get to your dedicated workstation at the moment.
