Managing multiple brands of laser printers

Our medium sized department has multiple brands of laser printers. Each vendor (ie. HP, Dell, etc…) seems to have their own software to manage their own product (up and down time & consumables). What software tools are currently available to monitor a range of brands of laser printers, with the same features that the vendors offer?
