Manditory Profile problems.

The Manditory profile on Nt 4.0 server was badly configured. We want to remove the manditory and return to default but all test have failed so far.
Normally the cleint will pick up the cleint default if a new account logs on. Not on this sytem it loads half of the client and half of the server profile. Ultimately we would like to blow the Manditory out but keep as many of each accounts personnal setting as possible. Any idea’s? Format and reinstall is not an option.
