map drive

By hwong ·
How do I map a drive to my unix server in Windows 2000? I used Solstice Network Client 3.2 for my NT4.0 and it works fine. Is internet tcp/ip and microsoft tcp/ip the same ?? I notice win2000 uses internet tcp/ip.

Microsoft don't mention it as being different.. Probably finally realised that it belongs to the world not to them.

TCP/IP is TCP/IP is TCP/IP (until v.6 is released...)

To map to a unix server, you'll need to know the IP Address of the machine, or the FQDN (Unix won't use NetBIOS names).
