After an updates of Windows Vista Business SP1 in client end, its mapping drive (h:\\server1\sim) to Server 2000 sp3 has been refused. Message:”System error 1240 – the account is not authorized to login from this station.” I then run updates on Windows Vista with SP2 and the same problem exist! I had followed the resolution given in the web such as unable/disable some option in security policy; but not helped still…! Expert out there please assist. Thank you.
