Map to Hidden Share

I have W2K server SPk4, and AD, I hide the users home directory using the $ sign, I want to map each user to their home folder using a bat file. this is what my bat file looks like "net use g: \\myserver\%username%" If I insert the $ sign after username I get a error 53. Can any one help.

Try it this way:

net use g: /home /yes

net use g: "\\myserver\%username%$" /persistent:no

This is the proper way. And it should be a bat file saved in the AD directory / system. Save the file as logon. bat or whatever. That way, you just put logon.bat in the location for LOGON SCRIPT and it will be accessed everytime upon boot.

What does /persistent:no mean or do?
