Mapped Drive to other Machines

By jasnew98 ·
Is there anyways to track if users mapped into others PC in the network?
Example: user A mapped into user B machine and copied data. will user A noticed? Is there anyway to find out whether PC has been accessed?

Yes you can see if someone accessed a computer in your LAN in event view.
For this you need some settings:
1.Click Start, click Run, type mmc /a (note the space between mmc and /a), and then click OK.
2.On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in, and then click Add.
3.Under Snap-in, click Group Policy, and then click Add.
4.In Select Group Policy Object, click Local Computer, click Finish, click Close, and then click OK.
5.In Local Computer Policy, click Audit Policy.
Local Computer Policy->Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Security Settings->Local Policies->Audit Policy
6.In the details pane, double-click Audit Object Access.
7.In the Audit object access Properties dialog box, click the options you want, and then click OK.
Good luck

You can also check for access in Computer Management console, Shared Folders under Sessions and Open Files.
