Mapped drives not “sticking”

by davem . Updated 23 years, 7 months ago

Hi,
We had an NT server hard drive crash. When the new hard drive came back from the shop, none of our mapped drives on Win98 clients “stick” i.e., they will only map to the root drive on the server; the details of the folders they were mapped toget lost.

For example, if the mapping needs to be “\\ccm_server\d\word documents\davem”,
all that will persist after entering the path into the mapping is “\\ccm_server\d\” —
so that every drive mapping only gets to the c or d drive on the server.

Thanks.
