We are having a problem where Windows XP users are randonly dropping shared drives. They have an H: Drive, mapped to a Linux Cluster, and a J: Drive, again mapped to an area on a Linux cluster. They can either be working on PC or leaving it for 10 to 15 minutes and will randomly drop out.
Latest Novell client is installed and Service packs in 99% of cases are up SP2. There are a variety of subnets and data links involved, so have ruled out possible issues with connectivity so far. Clicking on the disconnected drive does not re-establish the connection. Any ideas appreciated!
