Mapping error 1331

By kashmeir63 ·
Hi,
I have a windows nt4.0(pdc) enviornment. I have 5 or 6 windows 2000 servers on my network. I just created another windows 2000 server and called it server1,currently I have it on my network. I'm sharing a folder w/2 gig of files on server1. I have it shared as everyone with read only. I have a strange situation. From other client computers windows 98,2000, XP(prof)I can map and see it on the network. I have one windows XP(prof)computer on the network, from this computer I can see server1 on the network but when I click on it or try to map it I get the following: "Logon error 1331 has occured - Logon failure:Account currently disabled". I checked the PDC Server and the account is not disabled. Everything appears fine. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank You in advance

I would suggest using NETDOM to reset the computer account's secure channel to the PDC. I've seen that error before where the RPC communications with the NT 4 PDC has failed from the XP client.
