Hi everyone, quick (kind of long question) here. I work for a very small company in the trucking logistics industry. I started as a permit tech and transitioned to the bookkeeping department when our bookkeeper retired.
Now there is an opportunity for me to start learning web development and other IT related work on the clock. So, I will be the head bookkeeper AND maintaining our website/systems. We are discussing what my pay should be and I’m not sure what’s too low or too much to ask for. Thoughts?
I don’t have past experience in bookkeeping or web development. Very eager to learn what I can though and quickly proficient at most things.
