I’ve inherited a small network, 60 users, 6 servers, and while looking through the event log, i see the network is having master browser elections every 10 minutes or so, rotating between three different servers. obviously this isn’t normal (is it?,so how do I stop this, it can’t be good for the network. Is the master browser necessary, can I just turn off the service on all but one server, or all together (it’s the computer browser service, right?) thanks.
