    Master Browser Problem Multiple OS

I’ve read some posts on this problem but I need a little mroe explination on how to turn off mster browser on Win9x, NT4 and Win2k. I have read that you can do it in the File and Print Sharing properties on Win95 machines but this doesnt show up inany properties for Win2k. If there are registry settigns for the OS’s that would be best.

If you look at the NIC in Network Properties of a Win9x machine, there will be an option for BM Announce or something to that like. Usually that option is set to AUTO – change it to off. This may fix your issue.

      hope this helps
