Hello, I’m coming with a question abut matrix from laptop.
How to check the matrix is still working? ( I don’t have laptop to connect it, and check ).

I do not connect any screen to the laptop, I just have an old one from a broken laptop and I want to check if it works

I’ll guess by matrix you mean the LCD panel.

Some called that a matrix. Few are compatible. Basically you see if the old and new are compatible. If not, too expensive to test.

You have the Chicken and the Egg problem.

You won’t know if it works until it’s plugged into a suitable control system.

Frankly such endeavors are rarely done here with display prices here diving below 99USD.

Testing these is done with a compatible laptop because anything else costs more than the panels sell for.
