Maximum incoming connections on XP net

By sfoulk ·
How can I get the maximum number of incoming connections to a computer to be greater than what it is now? (10 I think)
I have a computer on the network I want the other 32 computers to network into but cannot because the computer reaches it's limit for incoming connections.
Is there a way to increase the number of incoming connections? (thats free or relatively cheap?)

Thanks to all of you. I got my connections up to 50 , so my kids will now have a place on the network to save their files. (I installed Deep Freeze on their machines).
You've really helped me out here.
