I have a Maxtor OneTouch III Mini. Up until two days ago, it worked beautifully. Now however, it is not recognized when i plug it into my pc or laptop. I am running XP on both units. I’ve check device manager and the drive does not show under ‘disk drives’. It does, however show under the (USB) devices. There it has a yellow circle with a black exclamation point. When I right click on it and select properties the message I get is ‘The device cannot start. Code 10.’ I am really praying someone can help me resolve this issue. I have loads of data on this drive that I was silly not to back up anywhere else.
