I am building my third system; which happens to be my first ATX system. An Amptron PIII-3758MRL+ mb with Intel’s Celeron cpu @700Mhz. The power supply is an Eagle model DR-A300ATX advertised at 300Watts. I get no response from the power on switch at all. No leds, no fans, just dead silence. I have followed the mb installtion steps and double checked my jumper settings. I have removed all but the mb and still no fan/leds.
I want to return either the mb or the ps but do not have a clue as to which is faulty. The only vague area of the installation manual is no detail on quote “Power Button/Suspend Switch” pins 21 & 22 of the CONN 1 header. I have no clue whether to jumper these pins and try of what. I am relunctant to just try it with confirmation.
