McAfee installation in XP x64

Can anyone tell me if McAfee Total protection is incompatible with Windows XP Professional x64 bit OS?

Depending on which version of this suite you have

The 2008 User Manual is located here and that should tell you what your version is compatible with though you may need to find the correct User Manual for your Version of this suite.

The newer versions of this suite however should work with the 64 Bit version of XP while the older versions may not.

Trying to install the trial version of the latest one.

I am trying to download and install the the trial version of the latest release. When i run the McAfee Virtual Technician, it says the application is incompatible with my OS.
It further says minimum system requirement is Windows XP/Vista/2000... btw, u r always helpful OH SMeg, thanks.

Well according to the McAfee listings

Windows XP (32-bit) with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher
Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit)
Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) View FAQ


This product is compatible with the above OS's so it should work if you have the 2010 version.
