I just had to reinstall my OS after Dell replaced a faulty hard drive. The Dell disk was labeled MCE 2005. After installation, if I go to computer properties, the system is listed as MCE 2002. But if I open the actual Media Center program, it says it is MCE 2005 (Version 5.1.2715.2773). One tech from Dell told me the install disc must have been mislabeled and they would send a new one. Another tech told me I had MCE 2005 installed and it listed as MCE 2002 because that was the trademark name. 1. How can I tell what I have installed? 2. What is the difference between MCE 2002 and MCE 2005? Thank you.
