If you are looking for study material for taking the exams then the Windows 2000 Training kit is what you are after. The resource kit is a reference book aimed at tools and knowledge for someone that is already administering a windows 2000 server. It is not necessarily laid out in an easy to remember format as it is written for someone with a higher level of knowledge about the product.
if you can make it....study all microsoft book....however, I'd like to recommend you to study microsoft windows 2000 training kit for the exam....because I would study microsoft training kit and I pass the professional exam...
I am thinking to buy the Microsoft Windows 2000 Training Kit for self study, but i am thinking again to attend the MCSE class with intructor! Which one is better to ready for the exam! Spending $4500 (RM) for attending the class or spending $1200 toget the training kit!
You have no experience in Windows NT, ah-huh. You apparently have no training or experience in W2K. And you expect to acquire this from a collection of books, take a few exams, and become a certified IT professional tomorrow morning.
You not only lack a foundation, but you also lack a house. And you ask the question, "how can I live in it"?
I suggest you seek the counsel of an average 5 year-old child, then contact your Congressman and thank him/her for passing the H-1B legislation.
Unless you personally know a Network Administrator who can show you the ins and outs of an up and running network, I suggest you try and go to school. You can read a lot about driving, but that isn't going to make you a Mario Andretti.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
