MCSE`s ????????
what i need now is the command line to start the installation.
i have logged in with my username and password.
my share is on a server called (server) and my installation files are also shared ie: \\server\i386
i am at a command line username@mserver x:\NET>
Now! how do i start the installation of win2k?
appart from needing an idiots guide book,i REALLY need a command to start this install.
what shall i type after the x:\NET>
when i look under computer mnagement on the management on which im sharing the win2k files i can see that i am connected in sessions of the shared folder BUT with no files open! SO as i take it i have access to the share but i need the command to run from the client machine to start the installation.
i know i can use RIS from the server to install this but what if im in a simple workgroup or a domain with no RISand i dont have a copy of the win2k CD BUT i do have a share of the win2k files
on another machine then this is my only option!
