MDW’S

Hi,

We have a Windows 2000 professional computer that had Access 97 installed. There is a database in Access 97 that we use from time to time, as well as one in Access 2000. After finding a technote, we installed Access 2000 into a different directory on the same machine.

Both Access 97 and Access 2000 work, however there is an issue with using the two databases. The Access 97 database has usernames/passwords configured and whenever you go into the Access 2000 database and then want to open the Access 97 database there is no prompt for username/password, which forces us to rejoin the workgroup.

Is there any way to use seperate “mdw’s”, so that we don’t have to keep rejoining the Access 97 databases workgroup? Thanks.
