We have three new Dell systems (8100, 8200)with Windows ME pre-installed. When using Windows Explorer or My Computer to browse folders on our NT server (SP6a, 1GB free hard drive space), explorer.exe refuses to respond.
System resources go to 100% taken in some cases, raising an alert.
No viruses have been detected with Norton AV.
Is there some incompatibility here, either with ME, or with NT4.0? Must I upgrade the server to Windows Server 2000?
Please help… I haven’t found any solutions on this.
