I’ve been searching (in vain, so far) for any app that meets this criteria: runs on Win2k or NT4 and measures amount of traffic passing through IPs, not just the overall interface. In other words, for a web hosting server, I need to measure bandwidth by IP so that I can determine how much traffic sites homed to those IPs are responsible for. I’ve found a few that do just one IP, or reset if the server is ever restarted. There must be something out there that can do this. I don’t think a hardware solution/secondary server, i.e. passing through a proxy, will be an option. I’ve seen MRTG, but quite frankly it looks like it will be a mess to setup. I know, I’m asking for the sky! 😉
