MEDIA PLAYER WINDOWS 2000

By alex.olszewski ·
I just added a new monitor from MAG INNOVISION. When I go to view an avi file in MEDIA PLAYER, the computer shuts down and reboots, what is causing this to happen?

Check the monitors display settings to see if it supports VGA OR SVGA,reasoning is that the refresh rate could be set to high
Check the video card to make sure it is compatible and that you are using updated drivers.
Check the power management settings to see if it is causing the problem
