There has been a lot of talk over the last week or so about how the working class white Democrats are in the majority going to Clinton, and the black voters in the majority are going to Obama.
We also have been hearing a spin on how if you DON’T vote for Obama, it is because you are a racist. I didn’t know Democrats were racist, because it is usually Democrats calling Republicans racist, not Dems calling other Dems.
I pretty much blew this off as media BS, like most of it is. Well, until last night that is. Watching a CBC news broadcast and they were implying the same thing.
Is it really white Democrats are racists, or is this trying to use “white guilt”?
Obama himself has stayed above this, so I give him credit for that. He should have told his campagn workers to do the same though.
IF the assumption is correct, is it any worst to NOT vote for someone because of their race than TO vote for someone because of their race?
Is it possible to not vote for Obama and still not be a racist?
Is it possible to not vote for Clinton and not have gender bias?
Is it possible to not vote for McCain and not have age bias?
