We do not have Active Directory implemented on our network yet but have installed some Windows 2000 Member Servers.
Member Servers do not have the Account Operators group. We would like to give our LAN Administrators the rights to add, remove,change groups.
This could be done with adding the LAN Administrators to the Power User’s group but the groups have already been created on the Member Server. Thus the LAN Administrators would not have rights to remove or make changes to the already created groups.
We do not want all of our LAN Administrators to be members of the Administrators group on the Member Server.
Any ideas on how this can be done?
