I have a precision 220 sometimes when i boot up the computer it gives me a message of:
memory read/write failure at ” “, read ” ” expecting ” ”
Decreasing available memory
The amount of system memory has changed
I am able to boot but with 96 mb of the two 128 mb memory dimms that are installed (total of 256mb).
I have tried swapping dimms one by one but cant boot up i get no output in the screen and computer keeps on beeping and fans on.
Can it be the memory slots or something else that im overseeing. Please help any ideas are appreciated.
