memory diagnostic tool in vista business

hi,

i have an asus notebook core 2 duo with 2gb ram running vista business. when i do the mem diag test i get the hardware eror message contact manufacturer.

if i run the test using any of the 1gb sticks on it’s own then the test is fine…no errors.

what could be the problem, any suggestions?
