Memory Dump Problem

By swamyvsp ·
I am trying to install Windows2000. After installed, when starting up, or when working, Windows2000 is halting, and starting dumping memory. In event viewer, it is giving messages like follows:

Memory Dump Problem

I would check to see if all your hardware is compatible with Win2k using the HCL. Are you installing from scratch or upgrading? If upgrading, I would also see if your software is compatible. Place you Win2k disk in the CDROM drive, then bring up a command promt, switch to your cdromm drive and type d:\i386\winnt32 /checkupgradeonly

This will run an upgrade check to see if your software is compatible with Win2k
