Memory dumping

By sblouin ·
Hi,

We have Nt workstations and some of them have a lot of memory dumping with this message 'Kmode_exception_not_Handled' usually it happens when using Office 97 SR2. What causes this to happen. We have to reboot the PC each time.

Thanks

The problem happends only in Office, or also with other applications? It is recommended to install the latest service pack available for NT. See if it happends again. If yes, try to change the memory modules to new ones that you know for sure that work. Alternatively, go to Window Explorer, right click each hard drive you see go to Properties > Tools > Check Now and request a automatic fix, confirm any message that it will check at boot time... then remoot norrmally. This might work...

Good luck,

Lusu.
